1. Name, age, location all that.

* Derek Christ, 24 years of age, Lafayette, LA. just recently made the move back to LA from TX.

2. How did you get into bmx?

* I got into bmx through a friend. Damon Sampy, I skateboarded at the time and used to hang with damon at bucknuttys all the time and he rode and he just let me ride his bike one day at the park and the second i started riding it i fell in love. and havent stopped riding since.

3. Favorite spots to ride?

* My favorite spot to ride at the moment would have to be anywhere in ATX. unfortunately i havent been able to travel to as many places as i would love to so for the mean time i would have to say anywhere in Austin.

4. Who/what influences your riding?

* My biggest influence would probably have to be any riders i see riding that just flow and make something really simple look so good. another thing that influences me to ride is just knowing how much fun it is to go out and ride a spot and hang out with a good bunch of dudes. Just having a great time. TEAM 2 WORDS influences me alot. Good music, and solid videos are also a good influence. every day before i go and ride i watch s bunch of videos just to set the mood ha.

5. What are your interests outside bmx?

* Other than bmx, i like art, music, movies, beer, girls, more beer, just hanging out. and im really into my ruckus as well. Thanks erik stevenson haha

6. Favorite moment from the team two words trip?

* OH MAN. could it really be possible to name one moment as the best of that trip? haha this is going to be tough. but i think my favorite moment was the night in austin. a random cat in the apartment scratching skinny while he was trying to sleep, pete trying to microwave that cat, evan getting so drunk he slept outside in the middle of winter. just the whole trip was amazing. would love to repeat that again.

7. Beamer, Benz, or Bentley?

* Honda Ruckus son. haha. nahh if i had a choice and could ever possibly afford one i would probably go beamer. or bentley. or benz hahaha.. i would just love to have a car hahaha

*ummm shout out to Beastmode for this interview, david rodriguez, johnny A, pete (the machete) taylor, evan butts, erik stevenson, tommy manasco, all my buds here in lafayette, all my pals back in texas. i guess thats it.
